2. Personal Data Collected

Course, group, or academic activity to which the user belongs.
Answers, exercises, and results obtained through the use of the application.
Information necessary for academic evaluation and monitoring of training activities.
Basic technical data necessary for the application's operation, security, and troubleshooting.
The application does not request bank details, precise location data, device contacts, or health information from users.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data is used exclusively to:
Identify and authenticate users.
Allow access to courses and training activities.
Conduct academic evaluations of students.
Manage and review exercises completed in the application.
Ensure the service's operation and security.
Address incidents and support requests.
Analyzing prescription patterns for teaching or research purposes.
When the results are used for research purposes, aggregated or anonymized data will be used so as not to allow for the identification of users.
4. Legal Basis
The processing is carried out within the framework of the teaching, academic, and research functions of the University of La Laguna and for the proper provision of the service requested by the user.
When necessary, the processing may also be based on the user's consent and on compliance with the legal obligations applicable to the University.
5. Storage and Security
The data is stored in systems managed or authorized by the University of La Laguna.
Technical and organizational measures are applied to protect the information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or improper disclosure, including:
Access control through user accounts.
Restriction of administrative permissions.
Encrypted communications using HTTPS.
Backups and recovery measures.
System updates and maintenance.
6. Data Disclosure
Personal data is not sold or used for advertising purposes.
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except:

7. Data Retention
Identification, academic, and account data will be retained while the user maintains an active account or participates in a course or activity managed through the application.
Once the course has ended, the account has been closed, or its deletion has been requested:
Data will be retained only for the time necessary to review or certify the academic evaluation and address any potential claims.
Subsequently, the data will be deleted, anonymized, or blocked for the legally required periods. Blocked data may only be used to fulfill legal obligations or potential liabilities.
Backups may temporarily retain data until they are replaced within the regular backup cycle.
Fully anonymized data, which no longer allows for user identification, may be retained for statistical, educational, or research purposes.
Deleting the application from the device does not automatically delete the account or the data stored on the server.
8. Account and Data Deletion Request
Users may request the deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.
